A Family Vision That Continues.
In 1954, Italian engineer and entrepreneur Renzo Landi began pursuing a simple but ambitious idea: that transportation could be cleaner, more efficient, and less dependent on conventional fuels.
A self-taught engineer and lifelong innovator, Renzo pioneered alternative-fuel vehicle technologies at a time when air pollution and sustainable mobility were far from mainstream concerns. His work helped lay the foundation for an industry that would evolve dramatically over the following seven decades.

More than 70 years later, that vision continues in the United States through Landi Technologies, led by his grandson, founder and CEO Andrea Landi.
Building on generations of experience while charting its own path forward, Landi Technologies develops and integrates advanced powertrain solutions for low- and zero-emission commercial vehicles. Our work spans renewable natural gas, natural gas, propane, electrification, hydrogen and emerging clean transportation technologies.
Today, Landi Technologies combines that heritage with American engineering, innovation and entrepreneurship—working directly with OEMs, fleets and industry partners to develop practical solutions for the future of commercial transportation.
